71-80

71-80
71. I have worn glasses since I was four years old.

72. I first “discovered” the internet when I was in 7th grade

73. Right before seventh grade started I had back surgery and I was still in the hospital when school started so I was provided with a tutor at the hospital. The only math book he had available was an algebra textbook so that is what I used. I didn’t actually start algebra class until a year later.

74. I can’t make myself burp.

75. I tried to teach myself how to crochet from some instructions I found somewhere, but I couldn’t understand much more than chain stitch. Lynness taught me how to crochet properly.

76. I have known how to do a basic knit since I was about 7 years old.

77. Blood has always fascinated me.

78. I once had stitches put in without any pain reliever. They told me it would only be four or five of them and so I told them no drugs.

79. My mother tells me that when I was three I had an appointment with a doctor: she told him that I could walk and he couldn’t believe it (when I was born the doctors said I would never walk). About that time I (in another room with the nurses) apparently got bored and set out to find my mother. When the nurses went to him and told him I was walking down the hallway he rushed out to see. I promptly sat down and refused to walk for him.

80. My family had a strict rule about jumping on beds—no one over the age of five was allowed to jump on them.
